It is only 3.5 hours away from either San Jose or L.A., and easy to get away for long weekends. We have two sons ages 20 and 16 and they love it here as well. Our 20 year old is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton and he comes home most weekends and brings his freinds to see Three Rivers.
